Busch Landscape Architecture (BLA) is a landscape architecture studio based in Decatur, Georgia. Our mission is to create contextually relevant designs that utilize the ecological history and culture of a site in order to create a vibrant experience for human engagement. Our process begins with site research along with a collaborative design process between the architects, stakeholders, and public interests in order to deliver a plan to meet all goals. Our diverse experience with various project scales and types keeps our business agile and unique and allows us to go beyond aesthetics to create a story book design.
Stephen Busch, PLA, ASLA is the founder of Busch Landscape Architecture and Design Lead for the studio. Stephen brings twenty years of experience to the development of holistic, innovative, and contextually appropriate design. His work weaves social, historical, and ecological details together in order to realize the client’s vision.
Stephen is an award winning designer, a member of CLARB, and currently sits as Secretary of the Georgia Chapter of ASLA. He received his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Georgia and his Master of Urban Design from the University of Michigan.
